  1. 1Sit in a comfortable, upright posture with your spine straight and shoulders relaxed.

  3. 3Use your right ring and pinky fingers to gently close your left nostril.
  4. 4Inhale slowly and deeply through your right nostril until your lungs are full.
  5. 5Close both nostrils and hold your breath for a brief, comfortable duration.
  6. 6Release your left nostril and exhale slowly and completely.
  7. 7Keep the left nostril open for the exhale, then immediately close it to inhale through the right nostril again. Repeat the cycle.
